1. The online presentation
The author does not assume any liability whatsoever for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided here. Any liability claims against the author that are based upon damages of a material or immaterial nature that are the result of the usage or non-usage of the information presented here or of the usage of incorrect and incomplete information are excluded on principle, inasmuch as the author cannot be proven to be guilty of having acted with wilful intent or gross negligence. All offers are non-binding and non-committal. The author expressly reserves the right to alter, expand or delete parts of the sites or the entire presentation without warning or to suspend the publication temporarily or permanently.
2. References and Links
In the event of direct or indirect references to external web-sites ("Hyperlinks"), which do not fall within the author’s area of responsibility, a liability obligation would only arise in the event that the author knew about the content and that it would have been technically possible and could reasonably have been expected of him to have blocked the usage should the content be illegal. The author hereby expressly declares that, at the time of the setting of the link, no illegal content had been detectable on the linked sites. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current and future presentation, contents or copyright of the linked/connected sites. He therefore hereby expressly disassociates himself from all contents of all linked/connected sites that have been altered after the setting of the link. This statement applies to all links and references contained in our own internet presentation as well as to any external entries in any guest books, discussion forums, link directories and mailings lists that may have been set up by the author as well as in all other forms of databases, the contents of which are open to external write access. Liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for any damages that result from the usage or non-usage or any information presented in such a way, shall lie exclusively with the provider of the site referred to and not with the person who merely refers to the publication in question by way of a link.
3. Copyright and trademark rights
The author endeavours to respect in all his publications the copyrights to the pictures, graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts used therein, to use pictures, graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts he has created himself or to have recourse to licence-free, graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts. All brands and trademarks that are named in the internet presentation and which may be protected by third party rights are subject without restriction to the stipulations of the trademark law valid at the given time and to the property rights of the respective registered owners. The mere naming in itself is not enough to justify the conclusion that trademarks are not subject to the protection of third party rights! The copyright for published items created by the author himself remains exclusively with the author of the sites. The copying or exploitation of such graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not allowed without the express permission of the author.
4. Data Protection
Inasmuch as the possibility exists of entering personal or commercial data (email addresses, names, postal addresses) in the internet presentation, attention is drawn to the fact that such data is disclosed by the user voluntarily. All services on offer can – inasmuch as this is technically possible and reasonable- be exploited and paid for without the disclosure of such data or by specifying anonymous data or using a pseudonym. The usage of contact data published in web-site credits or similar contexts such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers or email addresses by third parties in order to send information that has not been requested is not allowed. The right to instigate legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails in violation of this ban is explicitly reserved.
5. Legal effectiveness of this exclusion of liability
This exclusion of liability is to be seen as a part of the internet presentation from which this site was referred to. Inasmuch as any passages or individual phrases within this text should not, no longer, or only incompletely correspond to the current valid legal position, the remaining passages of the document shall remain unaffected in both their content and their validity.
